It has been close to an eternity since I last updated this
currently miserable blog.
Figured I should actually put some kind of effort into it.
But to update on everything... I will try pack it all in.
Note: These updates have no order to them.

This past weekend I was asked by a certain
Victoria Bacon to attend a Taylor Swift concert.
I look forward to spending some quality time with
VB as well as actually seeing if T-swizzle is a genuinely
good vocalist. Seeing them live always gives it away.
I hope the best for T-swizzles show, even though
I hold small bitterness towards the fact she beat out
Beyonce AND Gaga during the Grammy's. Good Lord.
Anyways... I won't let that bother my concert experience.

In other news -
College has been a blast...

People are nice and classes are going "splendid".
The other day in speech class a boy brought in his
3 wild snakes & we also got to eat...squid.
My brother and a few of my other friends
take the same class except on a different day.
Apparently my class is much more enjoyable
because all they talk about in their speech class is stupid.
Or as my friend put it,
"I wish I was in your speech class because all we do is talk about BORING stuff and SEX.."
Yea... nuff said.

I'm not sure if i'm being harsh or...whatever.
Valentine's day totally did not meet my excited expectations.

But I am looking forward to seeing this:

The fact that Josh Duhamel is gorgeous has nothing to do with it.

God's been doing some amazing things in my life,
and I'm finding change should never be deflected...
especially if it is coming from him. Its been a good month
of reflecting and learning that I cannot do life very good
without him there. I can't plan out my steps and
I have started to realize only he can plan them for me.
Simple...simple...simple.
I'm just slow I guess.

I get excited for every sunset here...every single one.

We went paddle boarding the other day with our friends Pierre & Cari Coetzee.
This stuff is harder than it looks... Pierre is a pro and i'm not even joking. While i'm falling this way and that, he's still dry as paper on top of his board. It's frustrating at times... but he's been a fantastic teacher.
While we were out I noticed this older lady with her paddle board... I did stare... but not because of how she looked, what she was saying...whatever. I stared b/c I was in a little disbelief that this older woman was fully whooping me at this sport. After I realized she was probably like 40 years older than me easily... I got back on my paddle board, and soldiered on once more.
Still a working progress... getting there, slow turtle style... but still better than before. I think of this lady. It helps.
Lukas on the other hand... was still a little intimidated. Arielle helped with that.

Just keeding... he charged it.

I was browsing fb and came across my friends blog... she had posted a link.
I enjoyed reading it... and soon afterward kind of wanted one, but didn't
have any idea what I was going to write about... at least to start it off.
Well she gave me the idea... i'm going to write about Maui. My 3 months here.
You can't go wrong with paradise, and life here is... certainly not dull.
Relaxing, but not dull. So... here we go.
